FAQ


  • Q:  What is the souvenir garment this year?

          A:  Performance fabric shirt.

 

  • Q:  What if the size I choose does not fit?
          A:  There is an unofficial and unsupervised garment exchange after the relay.  You can try
          to find someone who wants to trade sizes.  No returns or exchanges.

 

  • Q:  Do I have to be a member of BC Athletics to enter?
          A:  No.  Your team entry fee includes a “day of event” member for those who are not  
          already BCA members (those people can take a $3 discount off the fee).

 

  • Q:  When will the printed team info kit become available for the Team Captain?

          A:  This would happen during the month of April.  Check the site for updates.

 

  • Q:  Where is the Skeena River?
          A:  It flows through the Coastal Mountain Range of North Western British Columbia
          emptying into the Pacific Ocean near Prince Rupert.

 

  • Q:  What type of weather can we expect?
          A:  Average temperature is 14 de C.  This region is a coastal rain forest, you might experience
          rain showers.  Overall the weather is mild.

 

  • Q:  How do we get to Prince Rupert?

          A: We are accessible by road, water and air.

 

  • Q:  When do we find out our start time for the day of the race, 6:00 or 7:00 am?

          A:  Your team captain will be notified two day prior of the race.

 

  • Q:  Is this a very competitive race?
          A:  We are proud to say that we have all levels of runners participating.
